Yoga is my safe space, where I can connect with myself, disconnect from the outside world, and simply just be.

Living in Amsterdam and working in Finance as a Senior Manager, yoga became a regular part in my routine. It was my lifeline, helping me to maintain a clear mind, manage stress, assertive decision making and above all to be happy.

For me, yoga is much more than a physical practice. It is a way of seeing and living life, of treating others and oneself with compassion and respect.

The poses or asanas help us to look inward, connect with our most authentic and higher self, calm the mind, and detach from the ego. So that when the ego manifests, we have the tools to handle it calmly.

Yoga has taught me that discipline is the purest form of love. That’s why, for me, yoga means love: love for the universe, for others, and above all, for oneself.

My journey as a yoga teacher began in Bali, an island that holds a very special place in my heart. Bali is like a fairy tale, where the scent of incense and fresh flowers floats through the air, and people express their gratitude in amazing ways. The island is filled with a mystical energy that brings a sense of peace in every moment.

Initially, I did my training for personal reasons. I was so interested in philosophy that I wanted to fully immerse myself in it, but when I finished, I knew I had to dedicate myself to yoga and help spread this sacred practice around the world. I wanted to share with others what has helped me so much.

My favorite style is Vinyasa; I fell in love with it because it allows me to express my creativity and flow with what my body needs at any given moment.
